Coating
The coating consist of applying a varnish or a glue on a flexible material (plastic film, aluminum, paper…) to provide specific functions related to the final-use of the product. The glue coating (lamination) or the varnish (coating or printing) on the flexible substrate, is carried out by using a rotogravure cylinder (engraved cylinder), followed by a passage of the film in the drying tunnel to evaporate the solvents or the water.
