In-Mould Labelling (IML) allows the decoration of injection moulded parts in a single production phase. In contrast to the adhesive label, which is glued to the surface, the printed IML label is integrated into the plastic material of the packaging during production. There are two IML processes, the injection process (IML-I injection) and the blow process (IML-B blowing).
